Andrew Atroshenko, a remarkable artist born in Pokrovsk, Russia in 1965, began his artistic path at a young age. In 1981, he graduated from the Children's Art School for Gifted Children with honors, demonstrating his artistic ability. He continued to develop his talent by enrolling in the Bryansk Art School two years later. In 1991, he crossed a crucial threshold by being admitted to the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, one of the world's most prominent art organizations. In 1994, Atroshenko's work began to appear in shows in both St. Petersburg and Germany, launching his worldwide career. His artistic adventure, however, was far from over. Following his graduation from the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in 1999, he was given an exciting chance to work and participate in exhibits in the United States.

This trip across the Atlantic was life-changing for Andrew. According to him, "one year in America gave me more as an artist than all eight years of my studies at prestigious Russian academies." The vistas of America, so different from his native country, made an unforgettable mark on him. During this period, in 2000, while researching the New York art scene, he reached a key insight regarding the direction he wanted to drive his work. Atroshenko discovered a new sense of purpose and style after being inspired by the works of artists such as Royo and Pino.

After his year in the United States, the Andrew Atroshenko returned to Russia and dedicated two more years to refining and developing this newfound style.
