Artist's Pino Daeni Paintings

Pino Daeni (1939 - 2010) - Italian artist, real name Giuseppe Dangelico. Known for his exceptional ability to portray the movement and facial expressions of the characters in his paintings. Graduated from the Bari Institute of Fine Arts and from the Milan Brera Academy.
While studying, the artist improved his skills by drawing nude figures. Pino worked under the strong influence of such movements as the Pre-Raphaelites and Macchiaioli. He became a successful artist in his homeland in Italy and immigrated to the United States in search of new opportunities for his creativity.
Pino's technique is warm and exciting colors, a feeling of love and nostalgia, a subtle and simple approach to his work is the main reason why his original paintings are found in art collectors around the world. Basically, the artist depicts women in his paintings, as well as mothers with their children, thus showing a strong connection between them.
Pino's work is often exhibited on the sunny beaches of the Mediterranean, where he grew up. In this light, the artist's paintings become even more atmospheric and immerse the viewer into the artist's inner world.
