  1. Born and bred in New York's Long Island, Daniel Del Orfano stayed close to his roots and attended Dowling College in Oakdale, NY. After receiving his BFA in Art Education, he began teaching full time. He found this incredibly rewarding but decided that it was not his true calling, and so Daniel decided to focus his energy on creating art rather than teaching it. As the demand for his work increased, Daniel began developing his expressive style, implementing techniques that emphasised texture over realism. His work depicts realistic scenes that represent a memory of indefinite time and place to produce an almost ethereal feeling.
