Artist Larisa Moreis (Художник Лариса Мораис) a contemporary russain painter was born and raised in Moscow and draws her
inspiration from the world around her: from banal things to
significant events in her own life, reflected in bright canvases.
Her paintings cannot be compared with any particular style and genre,
highlighting one and only direction among them. Life and chaos reign
in them and the past is intertwined with the present.
Larisa's works serve as a guide to the wonderful world of creativity,
where each subsequent storyline is replaced by another, brighter and
more interesting: from surreal colours that greedily open bright
"mouths" to girls in masks who paint themselves with an invisible hand
with an armload of brushes smeared with paint.
But this is not what catches the eye and grabs the soul, but how
believably they are all written. And one gets the impression that it’s
not a picture in front of our eyes, but a high-quality photo-artistic
picture, which each of us would like to receive as a keepsake.
