Yan Yaya is a contemporary chinese oil painter, was born in 1964 in Xi'an (Shaanxi Province, China).

Studied Art at national Institute in Gansu And graduated in 1985, after graduation she was appointed as an artist-designer of the Gansu Museum. In 1995 she graduated from the courses on the art of fresco at the Central Art Institute of China and since that time has been working at the Capital University of Educator Training.the Pamir people is a great source of inspiration for Yan ( In China, Pamiris are referred to as ethnic Tajiks ) , since 1983 she has visited this sacred place more than 20 times. Many paintings are in private collections in the USA, Germany, France, Canada, Singapore, India, Turkey, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan .... Within the framework of international thematic exhibitions, the artist's works have received many well-deserved awards.
