Artist Eyvin Earle
The famous American artist Eyvind Earle was not only an artist, but also a writer and illustrator. Recognized for his contributions to illustrations from Disney animated films in 1950. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Rahr West Museum of Art, the Phoenix Museum of Art and the Arizona State University of Art Museum have all acquired his work for their permanent collections of 20th century artists.
Earl's early work is strictly realistic, but after a long study of the works of such masters as Van Gogh, Cezanne, Rockwell, he developed his own unique style. Earl painted in layers from the darkest to the lightest, adding more and more detail with each layer. All this made it possible to achieve a unique depth and detail of the image.
Eyvind Earl: - "... painting for over 70 years, I never cease to be amazed at the amazing infinity of Nature. Wherever I look, I see creation. Creativity is a creative process ... Creativity is a search for truth."
