Artist Sergey Ignatenko's Sensual Paintings
The modern figurative painter Sergey Ignatenko was born in Gomel city, Belarus in 1975. His mother and sister were among his first supporters when he started painting as a child. He even painted several portraits of them in the distant past. Sergey Ignatenko successfully finished his studies at the A. Khlebov Higher School of Arts in Minsk in 1997. He developed a solid artistic reputation over the course of several years of study before being admitted to the Belarusian Guild of Artists. Sergey Ignatenko began his career as a teacher at a school for young artists.
Ignatenko gained a tremendous deal of knowledge from the greatest impressionist painters. He also really admires their works of art, and this admiration has had a significant impact on his paintings. Sergey Ignatenko practised and learned for a very long time before developing his own skills and style. Ignatenko's primary subject matter is women's bodies, and when you first view one of his paintings, they transport you to an entirely different world that is magical, sensuous, traditional, and unearthly. Ignatenko never lost sight of the enduring impact of the impressionist art Sergey Ignatenko first fell in love with as a young boy. His paintings are nostalgic and sentimental, and nearly all of them feature stunning, semi-naked ladies. These women's attractiveness and contemplative positions give the artist's works a romantic-nostalgic aura.
A portion of their atmosphere must be transferred to the viewer, who, while occasionally not wishing to, is transported to memories or thinks about his own thoughts while seeing the paintings. In the United States, Great Britain, Japan, France, Germany, Denmark, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Spain, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Norway, Canada, and South Africa, the works are held in numerous private and public collections. Additionally, exhibitions of Sergey Ignatenko's works are ongoing throughout Canada.
