Artist Yuri Klapoukh ( Художник Юрий Клапуч ) is A Talented Contemporary Ukrainian artist who was born in the city of Kharkov in the year 1963. V.I.Surikov graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute in 1993. For the past 15 years, he has worked as a professional painter. Russian landscapes, classical portraits, and genre images from rural life are among his favourite subjects. He participated in a number of group and solo shows. He painted the shrine of Alexander Nevsky in his birthplace of Kharkov by himself between 1995 and 1998. Paintings by the artist can be found in private collections in the United States, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, South Africa, Germany, and other countries. Kharkov, Ukraine is where he lives and works.
