Contemporary American artist from Southern California Matt Talbert paint his work exclusively in oil. He spent most of his childhood in this period of his artistic development on the beaches of reservoirs near New York. Working in the basement of the famous Pearl art store on Canal Street, the future artist met various painters who taught him some of the secrets of his skill, which later turned out to be irreplaceable.

In recent years, Matt has become well known for his work with images introducing the viewer to cocktail culture. To create this series, Matt collaborated with the best bars and actively communicated with bartenders throughout the country. Matt recently became a finalist in the "Favorite Subject" nomination by International Artist Magazine. Some of his works have been published in Los Angeles Magazine, OC Weekly, Imbibe Magazine, Locale Magazine, and Societe Perrier. Matt is a member of the Portrait Society of America.
