Artist-Roberto-Ferri's-Paintings
Roberto Ferri is a contemporary Italian neo-academic artist. Born in the Italian city of Taranto in 1978. He graduated from art school and lyceum in his hometown. Subsequently, independently, until 1999, he studied painting. He was especially interested in the classics of the 16-17th centuries. A thirst for knowledge brought Roberto to Rome, where he graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts.
Roberto Ferry's works are in the most important and significant collections of Rome, Milan, Paris, London, New York, Barcelona, Madrid, San Antonio, Dublin, Qatar, Boston and others. His work is based on deep love and imitation of artists working in the Baroque style, especially inspiring the artist's paintings by Caravaggio. The old masters of romanticism and symbolism undoubtedly also greatly influenced the artist's work.
His paintings are full of symbolism and images. The heroes of the works have excellent figures with well-drawn muscle structure. The imitation of ancient artists does not prevent Roberto from being a modern master who lives and creates in our world. The contradictions and duality of the paintings of Roberto Ferry, coupled with the original beauty make it possible to call him an artist with a capital letter.
