Miguel Angel Avataneo
Miguel Angel Avataneo - Argentine artist. Born in the province of Cordoba in Argentina. His love for the pure form of classicism was fueled by his early interest in Italian masters: Correggio, Giorgione, Raphael and Titian. He was also greatly influenced by French works of the late 18th century: David, Gustav Courbet and Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres.
Recognizing the influence hidden in his training, but trying to rely on the knowledge gained independently, he completely created his own world of pictorial images. The unusual creative activity of Miguel Angel Avataneo takes him far beyond South America and makes him a prominent figure in the wider international art scene.
In 1988, he graduated from the National University of Cordoba "La Escuela de Artez de la". Since 1988, he has had many successful individual exhibitions, and, in practice, he received awards at each. His elegant and thought-provoking work is instantly recognizable to collectors.
“The first look at the works of Avataneo impresses the viewer that he had little expected. His paintings are rich in color and details, but always calm and strong, and therefore seem to be the embodiment of tenderness. From his figures he blows a feeling of majestic stillness, they look as if suspended between heaven and earth, between day and night. He is able to give his dreams the status of reality. "
