Chen Wen-Cheng has been invited to various art exhibitions as a member of the Asian Pacific Watercolor Association. Some of his masterpieces have been acquired by National Museums and Universities.

Chen - Wen Cheng adores art. Started at a young age, he was born into a family of ten children, two brothers and seven sisters, three of his older sisters love to paint, and as he grew up, he discovered his passion to watch them and paint with them. His art teacher was also very supportive to him during his childhood, and she helped him a lot to develop his talent. She was not simply helping him improve his academic skills. painting talents, but she also advised me to study in Pingtung City. These effects are far-reaching, and they are profoundly ingrained in Chen - Wen Cheng's tremendous enthusiasm for art.

when he reaches the age of The fifth grade in college was a critical creative transition moment for him. He began to search through all of the art books and magazines in the library, and he took out the albums of art masters in various media, various forms and factions in my mind, and compared them with each other and tried to find answers. He began to study various schools and styles, such as realism, abstraction, impressionism, cubism, surrealism, mixed media... and eventually fell in love with installation art. He had no aim of painting oil paintings, Chinese paintings, sculptures... He was influenced by several masters, and he resolved to begin creating good works only when he felt inspired. When installation art became deeply ingrained in him, he committed himself entirely to the development of installation art and abandoned other mediums; in 1985, he had his first solo show, displaying drawing, painting, watercolour, mixed media, and so on. He did a solo show of installations in 1986, and it provided him a great shock and touch! It was a pivotal point in his artistic development. Through his efforts, he began to learn to approach creation with an open mind and to explore the unknown self.

It's completely unintentional for him to be intrigued with watercolour creation. As a junior college student, I am in my fifth year. He wished to apply to the Faculty of Education at Hsinchu University of Education. He felt as if he had suddenly learnt how to paint watercolour while studying for the watercolour exam. It was a new experience for him because he had never painted with watercolour before. He finally realised some type of logic... and then he liked it; from that point on, he determined that watercolour would be his path. Furthermore, watercolour mixes Eastern and Western components, has the rendering pleasure of Chinese brush and ink, and can create a rich image of Western painting. This should be one of the reasons he enjoys it so much.
