Artist Duffy Sheridan
Duffy Sheridan was born in 1947 in the family of the artist. It was from his father that the creative principle and the first basics in the visual arts were transferred to him. Father gave the young talent the opportunity to draw what he liked, inculcating a very important quality for artists, special observation.
At the age of 24, Duffy moved to the Falkland Islands, where, far from civilization and the opportunity to observe the development of painting, he improved his skills. He stayed there until the outbreak of the military conflict between Britain and Argentina.
In 1983, one of the works of Duffy gets to an exhibition in London, from this moment the artist’s success begins.
From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Sheridan lives on the Samoa, and then returns to his homeland. It receives final recognition and is considered one of the best contemporary artists in its genre. He is recognized as a living classic of art.
