Jia Lu is a contemporary Chinese artist. In her paintings she uses a wide variety of paints, watercolors, mascara, oil.

The paintings of this artist are distinguished by a unique style of mixing Asian and European images of the beauty of a woman.

She was born in March 1954 in China, in a family of artists. She was very lucky with her family. Everything in the house was filled with objects of art. The conversations, interests and aspirations of parents were also in the direction of art. Both mother and father initially worked in the arts, but due to ideological persecution they were forced to emigrate to America.

The path to fame in Jia Lu was long and thorny. Before leaving China, Jia Lu worked as a nurse, projectionist, movie actress, art editor, etc. Since 1983 she continued her education in Canada, worked in the USA, Canada and Japan as a professional artist and designer. Jia Lu has taken part in more than 50 exhibitions in the USA, Japan and Canada.

Currently, the artist lives in Los Angeles.
