Artist Joo Seok Ju's Paintings
Artist Joo Seok Ju can rightly be called a "dark horse." On the Internet there is neither his biography, nor a complete portfolio, nor information about past and upcoming exhibitions. But there is his extraordinary work. Warm, musical, mysterious.
The only thing that was possible to find out about the personality of the author is that he lives in South Korea, in Seoul, works there, and prefers to do this exclusively with oil paints. Raised, obviously, on the work of the Impressionists, Joo Seok Ju uses in his paintings the same techniques and the same color palette, which makes them warm, bright and pleasant. It seems that if such a musical painting appears on the wall in an apartment, this family will be warm and positive for a long time.
Deliberately careless large strokes, which, nevertheless, add up to fairly neat and understandable plots, are the artist's recognizable creative manner. His paintings cannot be confused with others, and this is exactly what the author can be proud of. And it may very well be that some of these paintings by a contemporary artist adorn the walls of private galleries of wealthy people not only in South Korea, but also in the countries of near and far abroad.
