Artist Meadow Gist
Meadow Gist grew up in rural California. It was the beauty of the surrounding food that prompted her to do drawing. She received her art education at R. Watts at Watts. A few years later she became a teacher at this school.
Meadow divides her time between teaching, painting and making costumes and accessories worn by models in her paintings on the colonial era. She uses authentic materials such as silk, linen, and wool. Making dresses and suits is also an art.
Meadow - A member of the California Art Club .. The artist's work is filled with light and air with all the aromas of the environment depicted on the canvas, in the cobbler's workshop it smells of leather, the smell of horses and the dust of the road, the delicate scent of roses and the freshness of the morning.
