Artist Nikolay Ninov
Nikolay
Ninov (1973. Dolni Dabnik. Bulgaria) graduated the Art School in Tryavna
(1992), in 2000 graduated the V. Tarnovo University ‘St. St. Cyril and
Methodius’ in Sculpture department in the class of prof. K. Denev and prof. V.
Minekov. Since 2009 he is the Associate professor at Varna Free University in
Sculpture. Winner of prizes for contemporary arts, including the award for
Young Artist from the National Biennial of Small Forms, Pleven (2004). He has
participated in numerous national and international festivals and symposiums
for contemporary arts and sculpture. He was the Artistic director of
international sculpture forums in Bulgaria. He has over 10 solo exhibitions in
Varna, Burgas, Sofia etc. His works are in possession of Bulgarian National Art
Gallery, the Union of Bulgarian Artists, the City Galleries in Sofia, Varna,
Burgas, Pleven; in private collections in Bulgaria and in Romania. Lives and
works in Varna.
