Artist Varga Szidonia 

Szidonia Varga was born in 1965 in Kiskunfelegyhaza, Hungary. Her fresh and beautiful floral still lifes are known world-wide. Her works can be found in galleries for more than 25 years. The eternal miracle of nature, the Flower gives her the main inspiration, that appears regularly in her figurative paintings as well.At an exhibition, Dr. Gabor Thurai praised her works with the following words:

"I have met with her exquisite still lifes flowing in white many times. Watching her works, reminds me of my old obsession that doing fine art must be a female occupation. The closer faces and flowers she would prefer to put under microscopic examination. Her paintings are flooded with vivacious floral creations. Her backgrounds are characterized by distinctive grays shining moderately. Her still lifes are perfectly harmonious and peculiarly enigmatic.”She started working with glass and clay at College. Her artworks have been characterized by continuous innovation and experimentation in recent times. Currently she also produces ceramic ornamental pieces.
