Jacob Christian Poen de Wijs.

Born in 1948 in the Dutch city of Nijmegen, in a family of artists. In 1971 he graduated from the Royal Academy of Painting Artsin.

He belongs to that generation of artists who rediscovered in the 70s many old techniques of realistic painting in watercolors, oils and lithographs. Later introduced these traditions in modern acrylic painting.

In the late 70s, Jacob Christian burst into the art galleries of the world and immediately gained a reputation as a highly professional artist.

Peng is not only a realist artist. His experiments with paints and images and a unique vision of the world indicate that he is an artist of our time.

he had painted a lot of nudity in combination with abstract elements.

Currently, Peon drawing people - young and old, men and women of all races and cultures. With animals, with musical instruments, with still lifes. With his latest collections, he raises burning philosophical questions that give more meaning to his works.
