Artist Sara Morais 

Sara Morais (b. 1990) was born in Lisbona . Sheis a young contemporary artist. “ Inever wanted to be a painter but it ended up being in painting – and particularly in portraiture – that she found her form of expression, a discipline on which she has been focusing her energies since 2009” . Her painting, like herself, is incisive yet discreet and has been produced both in the public space of the city, in the form of mural pieces, and in the studio, namely for private parties, for which she works under the scheme of commissions. A visual artists of multiple trades, she developed expertise in techniques and materials, expanding her activity as an art assistant and a prop maker in the field of art direction for commercial purposes (advertising, window dressing, creation of props).
