Artist Igor Belkovsky ( Художник Игорь Белковский ) is a contemporary Russian painter , was born in 4 dec 1962 in Chelyabinsk city, Russia , member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the International Confederation of Artists, in 1981 he graduated from the Chelyabinsk art school, after which he taught at the art school for 3 years; in 1985 he entered the Moscow State Art Institute. VI Surikov, where he studied under the guidance of Professor VN Zabelin, after successful graduation from the institute in 1991 for 3 years collaborated with the Moscow gallery "ARKA"; in 1996 in the Central House of Artists (CHA) in Moscow, the first, and in 1997 - the second personal exhibitions were successfully held, which mainly featured paintings on family themes; in 1997, with the support of Vladimir Vinokur, he began work on the project "Russian pop, theater and television stars at home", in 4 years more than 25 portraits of famous people were written, such as I. Kobzon, V. Vinokur, L. Leshchenko , L. Yakubovich, I. Krutoy, A. Shirvindt and others, while in the process of its creation this project was included in the Russian edition of the "Book of Planet Records 2000"; the exhibition "Russian Stars" was shown in 2001 in the Central House of Artists, and in 2002 in the building of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and aroused great interest of the press and spectators, after these exhibitions the prestigious Moscow magazine "Litsa" ranked the artist among the "idols of Russia 2002"; the artist's works are in private collections and galleries in 17 countries of the world - USA, France, England, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Italy, etc .; since 1985 he has been living and working in Moscow.
