Artist Ivan Pili | a contemporary hyper-realistic, figurative and visual italian painter | Art & Beauty

Ivan Pili is a contemporary hyper-realistic italian artist, he also a musician and composer. Ivan Born in 1976 in  Cagliari, a city in the Italian region of Sardinia, he studied and Graduated from the - Civil Engineering Faculty - at the University of Sardinia. since he was young , he showed his artistic skills in the field of design, dissociating himself from other children, first in kindergarten, then in elementary school.

One day, quite by accident, while playing the bellows with his family, he discovered an innate inclination for music. Ivan held his first concert at the age of twelve. Thus, at the age of 12, he began his musical journey, forgetting about painting for more than 25 years, with the exception of some cases when it was necessary to decorate the walls of his own house or that of a friend.

Between 1991 and 1994, he devoted himself to the study of musical genres popular in Europe and at the age of sixteen, after his first concerts in Europe, he gained fame as an international musician. Especially important for its development, at that time, was a meeting with the Romanian musician Gheorghe Zamfir and the German musician Helmut Zacharias, who are considered one of the most talented violin teachers for many decades.

In 2014, after several meetings with people who firmly believed in his painting skills, Pili decided to resume his visual arts studies, giving a second life to skills that he had never forgotten. His incredibly creative talent blossomed into lush color, thanks to a newfound emotional charge, the source of which was Ivan's first passion - art. The subjects of his paintings are extremely varied: from landscapes and still lifes, to portraits and figurative paintings. Constantly studying oil and acrylic painting, he wrote better and better with each new painting, choosing realism as the main style, and oil on canvas and, sometimes, other materials such as metal, fabric, stone, wood as the main technique.
