Nydia Lozano is a contemporary spanish Painter was born in 1947 in Alginet, a small town in the province of Valencia, spain. She she started painting since she was young and and her familiy noticed her fond of art and her increadable talent so they was her first supporters, they supported her love for art she began her studies in the workshop of one of the artists in her hometown. Later, Nidia Lozano studied at the School of Art San Carlos in Valencia, where she met her future husband, also an artist. Her first exhibition took place in 1969. After graduation, Nydia left for Barcelona, ​​where she and her husband began a career as a professional artist.

Nydia's paintings are made in bright colors and filled with light, they, according to the artist, are a reflection of the memories of her cloudless childhood under the sun of Spain.

Nydia grew up surrounded by the fertile landscapes of Spain, in a strong light atmosphere, amid the vibrant flowers of rice fields and orange and lemon groves. All this could not but manifest itself in her attachment to painting and her paintings. that explain that her first works were landscapes. She also painted portraits of family and friends. Her father, who noticed her love for painting, showed her work to an artist at Alginet. The artist was amazed by her drawings and invited the girl to study with him. Nydia Lozano later studied at the San Carlos School of Fine Arts in Valencia, where she met her future husband, Leopoldo Sanchez, also an artist. Inspired by the works of the 19th century master Sargent Sorolla and continuing the philosophy of the Valencian School, Nydia Lozano began to depict female figures in her paintings. Her first exhibition was in 1969. After graduation, she left Valencia for Barcelona and began her career in Spain with her husband. Today the works of the artist Nydia Lozano are known all over the world.
