Zhiwei Tu's Paintings

The paintings of the contemporary Chinese artist  Zhwei Tu, from the northern Chinese province of Guangdong, are diverse in their themes, but they are all full of life and light.

He has been drawing since childhood. He studied and then worked at the Institute of Fine Arts in Guangzhou. Since 1981, he has lived and taught in the United States at the College of Fine Arts in Des Moines, Iowa. Has received wide recognition, has solo exhibitions, many works are in private collections.

Zhivey has now returned to his homeland in Guangzhou, where he teaches as a master and bachelor of painting at the Institute of Fine Arts.

in 2007 he plnned to creat his own big studio in weng yang, was completed and opened it in 2013 , his Art Museum became one most famous building in the city
