Paintings of Artist Kun Wang
Kun Wang was born in the Chinese province of Jilin in 1970. His legs were crippled by polio when he was three years old, and he liked to sketch ever since. Kun Wang had little option but to study painting on his own because his family encouraged and approved of his son's passion and attempted to research and acquire as much art knowledge as possible. In the mid-1980s, he became interested in oil painting after studying Chinese art and calligraphy. "Harvest on Black Soil," which appeared in "Art Panorama," marked the artist's direction in modern artistic realism. Kun Wang relocated to Beijing in 1994, trained as a professional artist, and established a contemporary classical realism studio in 1998.
