Artist Laurent Botella is a contemporary Painter. he was born in Nantes ( in north-western of France )  in 1974. his passions for painting and drawing started in very early since he was 10 years, while studing in the school. Laurent Botella lived in Toulouse there he studied art four years , after two years from finishing his studies Laurent Botella Exhibited his Art in galleries in Arcachon and Toulouse. 

Paintings of Laurent Botella can be classified as classic, traditional, or impressionist. Depending on the theme, he paints on huge or tiny canvases. For the last six years, he has been exhibiting his work at several salons around France, most notably in Giverny, Normandy, which is organised by the Art du pastel en France group, of which he is a member. Laurent Botella  painted a lot of landscapes and still lifes in his early days. When he first started using pastels, he focused on portraits and nudes. "I spent a year taking evening sessions at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse to enhance my nudes," he explains. Anxious to share his art, he organised a figurative painting show in Soual, Tarn, three years ago, with twenty French and foreign painters. He is a member of Avelan'arts and will conduct drawing and painting courses to persons who have registered with the organisation once or twice a week.
