Anton Ebert's Paintings
Anton Ebert (June 29, 1845, Kladruby, Tachov district, Pilsen area, Czech Republic – June 16, 1896, Vienna) was an Austrian painter. He is well-known for his landscape paintings as well as his portrait and genre paintings. Anton Ebert studied painting at Prague's Academy of Fine Arts and received individual instruction from Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller in Vienna. Anton Ebert went on a few study excursions. In Vienna, he worked as a portrait painter. Emperor Franz Joseph (I) was one of his customers, and the artist made a tiny picture of him on ivory for him. His photographs frequently featured children and lovely ladies. In addition, Ebert started painting landscapes in the Vienna area. Since 1862, Anton Ebert Have been a member of the Vienna Artists' Association.
