Josef Schuster's Paintings
Josef Schuster was an Austrian artist who specialised in still life.
Josef Schuster was born on June 17, 1812. Schuster showed an interest in and skill for painting since he was a youngster. The future artist's father worked as a pastry cook for the princely family of Liechtenstein, members of which supplied Joseph Schuster with financial assistance and aided him in obtaining a position at the Vienna Academy of Arts as soon as possible. Josef Schuster , as well as Joseph Messmer, Sebastian Wegmaier, and Franz Xaver Petter, were Joseph Schuster's tutors. Still lifes with various types of flowers and fruits predominated in the work of Austrian Josef Schuster; less frequently, the artist created animalistic still lifes, supplemented with representations of tiny animals and birds.
