Marie Gabrielle Capet " Self-portrait "

 

In this "Self-portrait," the French neoclassical artist depicts herself sitting in front of an easel. In her right hand is a holder with a crayon. The delicate face of a twenty-two-year-old artist is well depicted. The capet precisely captures the texture of his dress's silk, the satin bow with which his hair is gathered, and the delicacy of the lace.
