Ewelina Ladzinska's Paintings

Modern Polish artist Ewelina Ladzinska is renowned for her pastel creations and a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Arts. For an artist, the emergence and quick growth of the creative process are due to fine art. Women are the main subject matter of her paintings. They come to represent the harmonic union of seemingly irreconcilable components in Ewelina Ladzinska's situation. She has an exceptional ability to combine hues that seem to be in full opposition to create a beautiful, feminine whole.

Using straightforward symbolism that the observer can decipher from each line, shadow, and color patch, the artist depicts the interior lives of her figures. Ewelina Ladzinska's works are "suspended," if you will, somewhere between chaos and abstraction; they cannot and do not have a distinct, precise evaluation. Ewelina Ladzinska uses pastels for the majority of her works. Her inventiveness is not, however, restricted to this method; she also works in oils and watercolors. The artist's lighthearted depictions of women are brimming with love and kindness, yet the spectator also senses the protagonists' unwavering inner power.

In the conflict between softness and abstraction, Ewelina Ladzinska's pastels are built on contrast and are also in a state of constant flux, giving birth to new emotional personas at each turn. Her aim to bring natural beauty closer to the fine art realm and to mirror it in the surrounding environment is reflected in her works. Furthermore, she finds inspiration for her work in the vast variety of forms, hues, and textures found in nature, which serves as both a guide and an endless supply of ideas.
