Artist Alexander Akopov's Paintings

Artist Alexander Akopov ( Художник Александр Акопов ) a contemporary russain painter, was born on August 18, 1970 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow Higher School of Arts in 1988. Ilya Glazunov graduated him from the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture in 1997. Since 1996, he has been a regular exhibitor in Russia. The artist has also shown in Germany and the United Kingdom. Member of the UNESCO International Federation of Artists and the Artists' Professional Creative Union (1997). Alexander Akopov started the Moscow Association of Artists ov in 1997.

Academic painting master in the genres of portrait, landscape, subject painting, and fresco painting. In 2010, he collaborated with I.I. Glazunov to paint the interiors of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich's renovated palace in Kolomenskoye. Alexander Akopov's works are in private collections in Russia, England, Austria, Japan and Germany.

He has been drawing since childhood. He studied and then worked at the Institute of Fine Arts in Guangzhou.
