Artist Jose Ilores
Born in
Bilbao, he soon changed residence to Barcelona, where he spent his youth years,
studying drawing and painting at the Massana School in this city.
He begins
to begin in Art more deeply, in looking for and working on painting and that
what comes out of his hands is no longer just pure technique, but the
meticulous elaboration, the "step by step" towards Beauty.
He
continues his studies at the School of Fine Arts and Applied Trades of Toledo.
From the
year 1970, and after several exhibitions and awards, to paint every corner of
this Toledo that makes him fall in love, he went to America presenting Spanish
painting. Through the mediation of the Excellent City Council of Toledo, it
obtains the support of the Ibero-American Cooperation Institute and the
collaboration of the Spanish Embassies in each of the countries it exhibits,
obtaining great successes in Costa Rica, Panama, the Dominican Republic, etc. and
leaving all his work in those wonderful lands that he could not resist
capturing on his canvases.
