Realistic fantasies, or surreal figurativeism from the American artist Mary Chiaramonte *** ***

 ( Mary Chiaramonte , 1979) was born in West Virginia, grew up on a distant farm, helped her family cultivate the land. From entertainment - only that which surrounded the house, there was not even a TV. So, having included all her imagination, and observing the world around her, she transferred her understanding of him to her painting.

Chiaramonte's figurative realism, as if hanging between light and darkness, provocation and reality, tells us about some of our own secrets. Mary's endless wanderings in her own fantasies appear in her paintings with an ambiguity that makes the viewer wonder at our world, as she does. Mary Chiaramonte is a Master of Arts at the University of Redford, who graduated in 2010 with the award for Best Thesis. Her paintings have been featured in numerous group exhibitions and collections throughout the United States and Europe, and have also been published in American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur, American Artist Magazine, and PoetsArtists Magazine. Chiaramonte currently lives and works in Richmond, Virginia.
