Kamil Aslanger's Paintings


Kamil Aslanger was born in Istanbul in 1949. He graduated from the Turkish Military Academy in 1969 after graduating from Selimiye Military Secondary School and Kuleli Military High School, and he resigned in 1979 after completing his compulsory service year as a gendarmerie officer. Aslanger, who took up painting after retiring, spent his entire time to painting in the style of Orientalism and Ottoman history. He is a self-taught (autodidact) artist. He taught himself how to paint... and went on to become a well-known artist. Participated in several exhibits, including those on the following topics: ""Fairy Palace," "Dream Harem," "16th century." Matara, Sultan ".













For the last fifteen years, the painter has been doing studies primarily on orientalism, and with his parts from the social life of Ottoman Istanbul in its five hundred years past, its lost cultural values, and paintings, Orientalism and Istanbul Seriescollects under its name. His works can be found in museums and private collections. Through dress, jewels, and historical locations, the paintings transport viewers to ancient times. Before beginning to paint, the artist builds a live picture. Kamil Aslanger's oriental paintings differ from the Western perspective in that they reflect the mystical link of Ottoman customs and traditions.
