Vincent Xeus's Paintings

Born in 1981 in China, Vincent Xeus embarked on his artistic odyssey from a tender age. A contemplative soul, the artist found solace in the company of pencils and brushes, spending considerable time in introspective creative isolation. It was during these moments that he unearthed the transformative power of transcribing innermost emotions onto the canvas of paper or linen. Venturing across continents, Vincent migrated to the United States, where he pursued education at the University of California, Berkeley, culminating in a bachelor's degree in architecture. Currently holding the position of president at Marque Design & Architecture, Vincent seamlessly navigates the intersection of figurative and abstract, classical and modern art. His artistic trajectory follows an uncharted path, a delicate equilibrium between conflicting definitions that extracts the essence of his best artistic self. Art, for Vincent, emerges as a conduit for self-discovery.The artist's multifaceted creations serve as a testament to this intricate journey, weaving together portraits that eloquently narrate tales of growth, emotions, and faith to captivate the viewer's imagination.

"I cultivated my painting skills through an immersive exploration of the masterpieces crafted by Italian and Dutch luminaries. While I deeply appreciated their rich traditions, a compelling urge simultaneously drove me to break free from their established frameworks. This dichotomy birthed a profound internal struggle, a struggle that, paradoxically, became the life force fueling my artistic endeavors." - Vincent Xeus
