Francois Fressinier was born on August 4, 1968 in Cognac, France. His parents were portrait photographers with studios in Central Africa and the French Charente-Maritime area. His father is a photographer and painter. "It is my passion to draw the human figure in all its nuances of beauty and life." I'm not interested in absolute realism; instead, I try for a magical touch."

François Fressinier's work is distinguished for its sophistication. the artist is inspired by painters such as Rembrandt for depicting the souls of his sitters, Van Dyck for his grace, Bonnard's palette, and Fuchs for the fascinating universe he created; all of this informs his work today. Drawing, painting, and photography have always been an important part of his life...

Francois Fressinier's painting approach requires minimal drawing, and he enjoys being alone in his studio, letting the paintings speak to him and seeing them develop gradually and without effort." Francois Fressinier's dreams do not end there; he continues to enjoy the work of other artists, frequently visiting museums, galleries, and art libraries to broaden his imagination. At the same time, he is a down-to-earth, simple man who is enthusiastic not just about painting, but also about his life, his family, gardening, reading, and playing the guitar. Francois adores his wife Colette, who, like a Muse, motivates him to attain artistic accomplishment. Francois Fressinier's paintings are in private collections around the world and can be seen in major galleries in the United States.
