Artist Ramiro Ramirez Cardona - Columbian Artist

Was born in Chinchiná (Caldas) Columbia, in a family of self-taught artists, sculptors and painters. The human body rather than a being erotic or leakage eager libido, is itself, by its immediate essence, a dreamer, a creator and it is through the body, of that battered body, which has become a being communicating with dreams, ambitions, doubts and loneliness, that man has imagined and amazes us every day.

Artist Marco Tulio Espinosa

Born in Medellin, Colombia in 1966, self-taught artist, Marco Tulio began his artistic endeavors at a very early age; with both of his parents as artists, Marco has been painting since he was very young. Certainly his talents must be innate as this prodigal child had his first exhibit at the age of eleven. His father, abstract artist, Guillermo Espinosa instilled in him an appreciation of color but Marco practiced, refined, and has perfected his classically inspired scenes. His human figures are the modernized version of the Classical figure; meanwhile, he adds elements of surrealism, and plays up color and texture to make each piece seem so impossibly real! Beyond the chiseled bodies and near-to-perfect, idealized human figures, he pays homage to his South American culture providing elements of mythology and mystical imagery that is unique to a Marco Tulio painting. An increasing admiration for his figures is largely due to the rich color and texture he paints; he makes the image on the one-dimensional canvas appear tangible and three-dimensional.

Artist Jose Alonso Loaiza

A self-made artist, ⚘Jose Alonso was never part of a formal art program or training school. Instead he learned from his own personal studies of an art style which appealed to him more than any other, the Italian Renaissance. He cites Michaelangelo, Raphael, Donatello and Da Vinci as his greatest inspirations. Countless hours were spent poring over texts and picture books related to these artists and their stylistic techniques. More than 35 years of his focused attention has been patiently dedicated to studies of the human body, nature, astronomy and science. Since childhood, he has been fascinated with the Renaissance Era, and the cultural phenomena that it saw. Also in the science, astronomy and the anatomic study of the human body which came about during this time. This is what ultimately Influenced his own art. His Muse is…“Good wine, a good dance, and white canvas muse that catches me to flirt around with what lines and what color I am going to put onto it. Also “thought,” a good gathering of friends. But I have to highlight my daughter. My daughter, since she was born, became my lantern, my signal of light, so I know where I am going. My compass that marks my north.”Weekends will often find Jose with other music aficionados, dancing tango – another fascination of his, or in a traditional bar chatting with friends. A typical work week will include time spent painting, attending local cultural events or spending time with family.

Javier Bedoya was born on November 5, 1961 in Santuario Risaralda. He was officially established as an artist in 1983 at his first collective exposition. Since that time he has been involved in more than sixty individual and collective expositions displaying his mastered techniques with: carbon pencil, pastel, acrylic, oil painting, linoleum, xylography, dry point, strong water, mezzo ink, and other materials.He has also shared sculpture, water color, human figure, and photography workshops. His artwork is not merely just colors that form to create an image, but shapes and lines that are emphasized by raised paint resulting in an art masterpiece. He is a true artist that has been exposed in the U.S.A., Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Spain, France, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and many other countries worldwide.

Artist Alexandre Monntoya

Was born on the 16th of January 1974, Roldadillo (Valle), Columbia.

He studied the fundamental concepts of drawing perspectives at INEM, in the city of Pereira where he graduated as an Industrial Graduate.In 1994 he opened a small gallery in the city of Cali. He began to be more involved in his drawings when he had more contact with other artists in this region. Each day he felt more motivated to paint. Alexandre says, it was because he knew that he had a gift with the paint brush and his heart swelled with happiness and peace when he was painting night after night.In 2001 he decided to close his gallery in Columbia and move to Spain to grow and develop his work as an artist.There were some difficult times, a period of time went by that he was conscious that in order to succeed and make history he had to change and develop his style of work, so as he desires, he can be one of the greatest painters of our time.
