Harold Piffard's paintings
Harold H . Piffard an aviator and artist, was born in India and studied at Lansing College on England's south coast. Harold actively participated in the design and production of aircraft models. Harold Piffard manufactured his own aeroplane, which he dubbed H ummingbird, and once won a bet (box of champagne) from the landlord for staying in the air on his biplane for 40 seconds... He continued his education by enrolling in the Royal Academy of Arts, as well as studying and working in Paris, returning to India on multiple times. He has shown his art at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of Artists in Birmingham, and at various Liverpool galleries. He was a fantastic illustrator. Harold Piffard was a great artist as well as a skilled aviator.
