Artist Marco Tulio Espinosa (Colombian artist)

Artist Marco Tulio Espinosa

Born in Medellin, Colombia in 1966, self-taught artist, Marco Tulio began his artistic endeavors at a very early age; with both of his parents as artists, Marco has been painting since he was very young. Certainly his talents must be innate as this prodigal child had his first exhibit at the age of eleven. His father, abstract artist, Guillermo Espinosa instilled in him an appreciation of color but Marco practiced, refined, and has perfected his classically inspired scenes. His human figures are the modernized version of the Classical figure; meanwhile, he adds elements of surrealism, and plays up color and texture to make each piece seem so impossibly real! Beyond the chiseled bodies and near-to-perfect, idealized human figures, he pays homage to his South American culture providing elements of mythology and mystical imagery that is unique to a Marco Tulio painting. An increasing admiration for his figures is largely due to the rich color and texture he paints; he makes the image on the one-dimensional canvas appear tangible and three-dimensional.

Artist Jane Schnetlage (American artist)

Artist Jane Schnetlage

"I have loved art all my life and can't remember when I was not drawing or painting or photographing something. While I paint old school too at times, I am a total advocate of digital painting and Photoshop. It is the future. I love digital art and mixed media, especially using it to produce something that resembles a traditional style painting or sketch. Now my brushes are electronic, that's all. This medium takes me places I could never go before and at times allows me to blend my photography and painting experience. Sometimes there is a photo behind my work, sometimes not."

Artist Anastasia Vostrezova (Russian artist)

Artist Anastasia Vostrezova

Her works in a variety of genres: portrait, landscape, still-life. Anastasia's true creativity is evident in her scenes of Russian everyday life, festivals and portraits. The characters presence of mood and soul are delicately transferred on her canvas.
Her works are characterised by the constant search of the illusive language of the soul and the painting culture that changes constantly.
Was born in a family of artists. She spent all of her childhood in Moscow and in Pereslavl-Zalesski where her family had a summer house.
- I see painting as the art of depicting the world in its beauty, be it a person, landscape or flower. Everything has its own color, its own mood, its own soul.
In the physical world, through the perfection of form, the divine manifests itself in beauty.
Beauty reveals and depicts what is eternal. In my paintings, I try to follow this practice in an effort to ensure that in the hearts of viewers, the painting arouses a world of thoughts, emotions – happy or sad, but always poetic and sublime.
It is impossible not to love this magnificent scenic world.
I often talk with the artists, musicians, people of ballet and I am very close to the words of the great Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova, addressed towards all ballet dancers and artists alike … and even towards all people: “Let’s dance more, and try to find more beauty in the dance as well as in life.
A true artist – whether he dances or does something else – always strives for beauty.
So let us become one with the world of true artists, just as we become one with the world of dancers, because by replacing ugliness with beauty in visual images and intangible areas, we come a little closer to happiness and completeness...

«The female form and in particular the face, is my favourite subject to study. I am inspired by strong female characters. I translate this into my style using bold and confident line work. Love to lose myself in detail reworking lines and curves over and over. In doing this I strive to create an interesting balance between loose brushwork and a tight polished finish. The resulting aim is a rugged but beautiful vision that keeps the eye finding more to feast on every time.»

His diverse subject matter ranges from still lifes, landscapes, and interiors, to dancers and figures. “Realism and abstract—it’s all the same to me,” he has said. “The real essence of painting is the dialogue between shapes, tones, colors, textures, edges, and line. Everything else follows—including light, form, concepts, personal beliefs, and inspirations.” Working primarily in oils, watercolors, and pastels, Ho is not tethered to any particular mode of expression; a single painting may be a color study, another a formal arrangement, and yet another an exploration of texture and surface.

Artist Constantine Lvovich (Russian artist)

Artist Constantine Lvovich

Constantin Lvovich studied at the studio of Ilya Glazuno at the Academy of Fine Arts of Moscow. Influenced by many styles, he has mastered the technique of combining both Realism and Impressionism. An acclaimed artist at 36 years of age, he has exhibited throughout Europe.Constantin's most conspicuous characteristic of his paintings is his ability to accurately and objectively record visual reality, and the transient effects of light and color. Much like Monet one almost immediately can detect the time and season in his paintings. The figures in his painting are so captivating with his delicate approach to facial structure as well as anatomy; the clothes also enhance the viewer's taste and feel for the figures in each work of art. The techniques he employs in his works are not so much the mixing of color but rather the respect for each color, independent of one another.

For over 20 years he has created over a thousand works relating to biblical themes and the life of Christ. The MasterPeace Collection began from the vision to "reclaim the arts for Christ." Through art, it has been our desire to give Jesus an honored place and also a rightful place. The Life of Christ series accomplishes both. Brian Jekel masterfully captures in a penetrating way, the simplicity, the beauty, and the ministry of Jesus. Each of the paintings in this series reveal the excellence of the work, the power of its imagery, and bring glory to the master, Jesus Christ.

His profound knowledge of the secrets of light, shade and opaqueness are present throughout his work. His female forms are classics - brilliantly executed and exquisitely drawn. His palette contains a wide range of colors which give his paintings their great beauty. For Ribas, time is not important. He is an artist who prefers to work slowly - continuously defying his vision in a never-ending search for aesthetic. Although his successful career already spans more than twenty years, Ribas does not produce the quantity of paintings that others may, but each canvas is highly desired by galleries and collectors alike. Ribas is not a prolific painter. His disciplined manner of painting requires years of planning for an exhibition.

Artist Naned Mirkovich (Yugoslawian artist)

Artist Naned Mirkovich

Artist Nenad Mirkovich grew up in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, a beautiful old city on the shores of the blue Danube River. Though not a wealthy family, Mirkovich grew up in a family full of love. One of his favorite childhood memories was watching his father paint. And, if he wasn't watching, he would sneak a few strokes in his painting before he returned to it. He was convinced he never knew, but, it was many years later that he told Nenad he knew all along. For inspiration, again it was Mirkovich's father. He brought his artist friends into their home. They talked, drank coffee and gave Nenad art books, which he hid, in his room, and at night he would read them till he fell asleep. It was influence from his mother that contributed to Nenad's love of landscapes, his favorite subject to paint. Every trip she made to the market included bouquets of flowers. They had a huge balcony that was covered with roses, gardenias and irises. In high school, Mirkovich began to study the works of Monet, Renoir and Matisse. They created a new landscape almost anyone today can identify with; a house, a village, a beautiful garden. This artist believes that there are positive and negative artists. Negative artists usually choose to do only abstract art, which is not always understood by the artists themselves. Nenad chooses to think positive and paint positive subjects. " Artists are created to carry information and paint history for future generations, " explains Mirkovich. " Art is magic. One can become a true artist only if you can feel the magic or have the ability to put it all together on canvas. "Among Nenad's many awards, he was chief illustrator for a weekly national magazine in Belgrade. He received a gold medal for the Best Newcomer Artist in Belgrade, received Best of Show in Germany in 1982 and Best of Show in Italy in 1997.

Artist Ewa Langrecz (Polish artist)

Artist Ewa Langrecz

I come from Poland, where I live and work, my real name is Ewa Czernal-Suliga. I am a very sensitive and emotional person, painting has always moved me, although I am not able to define exactly the word Art and what is hidden in this word. For me personally, if the image evokes someone’s emotions, joy, emotion, anxiety. For aesthetic reasons. This is art for me and be able to convey it in a picture, it is art. Today, there are a lot of artists, brave artists who want to convey some moral values, whether to provoke but if their paintings do not evoke for the recipient of emotions due to aesthetic reasons. I am not accomplished I am sure of the artistic value of such a work. I have been interested in painting since I remember, the first paintings were made in my head for several good years. I pour them on canvas. I create my paintings under the influence of emotions, under the influence of survival. I am sensitive to the beauty of nature, hence a lot of flowers in my painting. Painting allows me to create something that arises in my mind, allows me to convey my moods, my feelings to build a vision, I will never plan the picture to the end, it is created with me, in my mind, and later on canvas and I experience each job in my own way. I paint with acrylic paints. It dries quickly, which allows me to work faster in accordance with my temperament and lack of patience. I don’t think I have exactly the subjects. I love painting flowers, still life which symbolizes something, abstraction drew me in because I let my imagination run wild and if personal experiences come to this. I can convey all my emotions there and all my temperament and if I can do it to some extent, I am happy! Although never completely dissatisfied, I have a great distance and are humble with my work.

Artist Hannah Faith Yata (American artist)

Artist Hannah Faith Yata

Hannah was born in 1989 in Douglasville, Georgia, USA. In her short career as a young artist, she has quickly made a name for herself within the New Contemporary Art scene. Her work has been exhibited throughout America in renowned galleries such as, Last Rites Gallery, Copro Gallery and 111 Minna Gallery.Hannah Faith Yata’s art addresses the objectification of women and the exploitation of nature, and she draws a parallel between these transgressions within her work. Inspired by psychology, feminist literature and her own experiences as a woman, Hannah calls upon the richly symbolic form of the female figure, which she often combines with parts of animals, creating surreal and arresting metaphoric hybrids. Placing these characters in intriguing scenarios, Yata explores the depths of our social psychology, and draws attention to how the human race at large, continues to turn a blind eye to the injustices delivered upon women and our environment.

Sketch books filled with ideas and intricate drawings were his best friend throughout childhood. Artwork quickly became an important component of his school's exhibitions and competitions. At age 15 he sold his first painting.Sinisa's infinite thirst for experimenting in expressing his artistic personality has helped him create a wide variety of works in various mediums and styles. He received strong academic training in perspective drawing, composition and history of art as well as architecture from his professors, which were all known artists and masters in their professions. With the start of war in Bosnia, Sinisa and his family escaped from Saraverjo, barely saving their lives' and leaving everything behind, including Sinisa's artwork. Everything disappeared in the disasters of war. From 1992-1997, Sinisa and his family lived in Belgrade, where they began their new life. In December of 1997 Sinisa was able to move to the United States to begin a new life as both an artist and an architect. New ideas, horizons and temptations brought Sinisa a whole new level of inspiration, and formed his unique style of artistic expression. He places his paintings into "windows of feelings". "Seeing things through a window gives us a sense of discovering something new, or remember something we used to have", says Sinisa.   "Energy of emotions, and it's channels are visible through my artwork, and that is what excites me." According to Sinisa, the key to those emotions is in the artistic portrayal of those moments or images in our lives that we would like to freeze in time forever; available anytime to allow us to feel that moment again. In an expression of that philosophy, Sinisa is proud to introduce the "Window to the Soul" series. Each piece portrays emotional moments such as love, passion, power, ambition, courage or compassion with a story behind each piece and clues to the story in most pieces. He invites you to study each piece and enjoy the feelings portrayed.

“ ..I am an artist living in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. I was born in Newry, Co. Down but have lived most of my life close to Belfast. I went to art college in Belfast and Manchester, achieving a first class honours degree in illustration. While at college, I won first prize at the North West Artists exhibition sponsored by BP. After college I began exhibiting my paintings with Tom Caldwell Galleries and won awards at the Royal Ulster Academy (best painting as voted by the public and UTV award). Despite my success in painting, I began working in advertising which left no time for painting. After further career moves in graphic design, I began teaching various art classes. I also began teaching in local primary schools. I have now stopped teaching in order to devote myself entirely to painting. I paint in both oil and watercolours, depending on the subject and have no preference. I paint ordinary people in their environments and always try to make the commonplace interesting. My work has recently been featured in The Artist and Artists and Illustrators magazine. I have  exhibited at The Royal Society of Portrait Painters at the Mall galleries, London. I won the watercolour prize at the Royal Ulster Academy, Belfast in 2017 and last year, I won the Whyte's auctioneers prize in the Watercolour Society of Ireland exhibition in Dublin and I was awarded second prize at this years, Artist of the Year exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London, sponsored by Artists and Illustrators magazine”.

Artist Steven Kenny (American artist)

Steven Kenny is an American artist. Born in Peekskill, New York in 1962. He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, after which he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1984. Stephen devoted his final course at art school to self-study in Rome. The direct impact of European art (works of the Italian, Dutch and Flemish schools, especially in the Baroque style) had a significant impact on his painting style.

After his return, Stephen settled first in New York, for the first time he became famous as a commercial illustrator-freelancer. Clients included Sony Music, Time Magazine, AT&T, United Airlines, Celestial Seasonings, Microsoft and many others. His illustrations have received numerous awards from the Society of Illustrators, various art magazines and art directors of some New York clubs. In 1997, Stephen moved to the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains. From that time on, he decided to devote his entire attention to the Fine Arts.

In early 2010, Stephen returned to his home state of New York, where he still lives, works and exhibits his paintings not only in state galleries, but throughout America, as well as in Europe. The beauty and mysteriousness of nature greatly influenced the path he chose, at an early age. The style of Stephen's paintings can be described as a mixture of Baroque and Surrealism. Most often, his works combine the human figure with elements of nature, thereby showing the inevitability of our relationship with the environment and at the same time symbolically hinting at the inextricable connection between man and nature as a whole.

Artist June Stratton (Artist from Hawaii)

 Contemporary Hawaiian artist June Stratton

“Where I live, water surrounds me. Inevitably, my dreams often include water. As the dreams go away, I can seemingly move from one scenario to another, however this is not possible in real life. It is difficult to accurately capture my ideas, so I allow my models to portray a thought / feeling using a natural setting. In a way, it's like an old-fashioned pantomime, only modern "
June Stratton.

June was born in Hawaii, but when she was still very young, she and her parents moved to the United States of America, California. The girl's love for art was manifested in her childhood. June graduated from a local art college, and then continued her self-study in search of her unique style and technique. It took Stratton no less than ten years to find herself, she moved many times and constantly got acquainted with new artists and their work, after which she began a professional career as a painter.
June Stratton's works are ephemeral paintings that carry an ideal look at the beauty of the surrounding reality, they have bright colors, and are based on rich impressions of dreams that exist on the verge of truth and speculation. In her canvases, she actively uses female symbolism and a corresponding view of the paintings. The author, with his works, as it were, tells us to go on the road with her, plunge into the beautiful and unique, because reality is tenderness and a storm of feelings and emotions.
In the mid-eighties, the artist moved to Seattle, where she was able to make acquaintances with many famous talented painters who made their living through art. Since that time, June has plunged headlong into the world of fine art, since the situation in those years in the city allowed for this.
During the first years, the girl was engaged in exceptional landscape themes, mastering oil paints. It was such works that were exhibited at her first exhibition in her life. The artist very quickly sold out her works, and it was since then that her fame and celebrity began to count as an excellent painter. As the author herself writes, in order to achieve great heights in the visual arts, you need to have the proper level of perseverance and have creativity in order to solve the difficulties that have arisen. It is necessary to create such an atmosphere so that the mind is open to creativity. With twenty-five years of successful exhibitions around the world, her work has been acquired for many major collections, including Bank of America, US Department of State, Mayo Clinic and Texaco Incorporated.
Now June Stratton successfully presents her work at many fairly well-known exhibitions, and the number of her fans is growing by leaps and bounds. Successful solo and group exhibitions at Savannah and Boston's Lanoue Fine Art Gallery have confirmed her uniqueness and the relevance of the style she developed, as the artist herself characterizes "drawings, in a cinematic style" ... Some of her latest works can be seen in major national and international collections, including the acclaimed St Regis Hotel art collection.
